Bruce Kissling
Bruce Kissling passed away on Tuesday of this week. A long-time Parishioner along with his wife Angela, Bruce was a very faithful member of St Leonard’s for a great many years. A true gentleman, Bruce’s humility and ability to value everyone was a great blessing. His funeral was Saturday in Christ Church. May Bruce rest in peace and rise in glory.

Interested in helping with an Alpha Course?
In mid-August we will be running an Alpha Course. But first we need people to help make it happen with a variety of roles including hosting, hospitality and as group leaders.

There will be a meeting for those interested in finding out about being involved with the course on Saturday 10 July meeting at 10am in the Parish Hall at Warkworth. If you would like to know more, please ask the Vicar.

Our Favourite Hymns
In mid-July we are planning a sing-a-long of our favourite hymns. The plan is to gather in Christ Church from about 2pm and join our voices in song (and chase away any winter blues). The date is still to be confirmed but for now please email the Office with your suggestions/votes of hymns you would like to be part of the sing-a-long.

In other news...

  • The St Leonard’s group will meet after the service at 11am today (rescheduled from last week).

  • Our bank is no longer accepting cheques for deposit. Ask the Office for details of our bank account if you would like to set up an online or Automatic Payment instead.

  • Our next Wayfarers youth gathering will be Sunday 4 July at 4.30pm.

Selwyn Centre

Our Selwyn Centre for seniors runs on a Monday morning from 9.30am to midday. It operates during term time in Level 1.
